Defendza is a member of CREST, a not-for-profit organisation created to regulate the consultants performing professional security assessments. CREST is a standards-based organisation for penetration test suppliers incorporating a best practice technical certification programme for individual consultants. Additionally CREST provides its members with a framework of guidance including standards, methodologies and recommendations aimed at ensuring the very highest standards of leading-edge security testing.

Cyber Essentials

Defendza is an approved certifying body for the Cyber Essentials scheme. This scheme is backed by the UK government and supported by the industry to help small to medium businesses improve their cyber hygiene at affordable rates. This scheme concentrates on the five key control areas that should be implemented to mitigate the risk from most common attacks, within the context of Government's 10 steps risk mitigation approach. This helps businesses to demonstrate their commitment towards data security to stakeholders,customers and supply chain.

G-Cloud Supplier

Defendza are approved to provide services to the public sector under GCloud approval. The UK Government's G-Cloud initiative is targeted at easing procurement by public-sector bodies in departments of the UK Government of commodity information technology services that use cloud computing. Buying services through frameworks is faster and cheaper than entering into individual procurement contracts.
